Biography

Presenting Considering Neurodiversity

Abigail Coover, LEED AP is the director of Overlay Oce, a practice that layers innovative design, development and project management. The work places an emphasis on the creation of joyful, inclusive spaces through innovative use of material, form and color. Abigail is a founding member of WIP Collaborative, an award winning feminist design cooperative in New York City. She is also a founding board member of Design Advocates, a network of design professionals who collaborate on projects, research and advocacy to serve the public good. Abigail received her Masters of Architecture from Yale University and her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia. Abigail has previously taught architectural design as a lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania and as a critic at the Yale School of Architecture. She is currently Adjunct Associate Professor at Pratt Institute School of Architecture.
