American curator and art historian specializing in contemporary and feminist art. Before her current role, she was Chief Curator at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles and curated the landmark exhibition WACK! Art and the Feminist Revolution (2007), a major survey that helped establish feminist art as a central field within contemporary art history
