Presenting Experiments in Access Pedagogy
Fateya Omer is an undergraduate student at Yale University studying the History of Science, Medicine, and Public Health. Her interests include exploring the intersection of healthcare accessibility, equity, and cultural understanding, where she strives to combine clinical practice with public health research to overcome systemic barriers that disproportionately affect underserved populations. She is reimagining mentorship from a place of compassion and inclusivity, exploring new techniques that build learning environments in which equity and access are not just concepts but actionable goals. For her, transforming learning environments into places of empowerment and connection provides a tremendous sense of fulfillment.
