Presenting during the Opening Session and Instructors with Disabilities: Policies, Practices, Potentials
Dr. Katie Wang is an associate professor in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Yale School of Public Health. She received her Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Yale University and completed postdoctoral training at Yale’s Center for Interdisciplinary Research on AIDS. Dr. Wang’s research focuses on the role of stigma as a social determinant of mental and behavioral health inequities, with a specific emphasis on how ableism intersects with other forms of oppression to shape the lived experiences and well-being of people with disabilities.
