Presenting We are the Doctors for You: Improving Internal Medicine Resident Education to Better Serve Adults Living with Disabilities
Lucille Kohlenberg, MD is a 3rd year internal medicine-pediatrics resident at Yale New Haven Hospital. She graduated from Yale School of Medicine in 2022. During her residency, she has co-created a curriculum for internal medicine resident physicians on caring for patients with physical and intellectual disabilities. In addition to medical education, her academic interests include disability-centered healthcare, pediatric-to-adult transitions, and integrated parent and infant care.
