Dr. Naveed Murtaza is a senior HR Advisor specializing in Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (EDIA) at the Canada Energy Regulator (CER), a regulatory agency overseeing Canada’s energy sector. A disability studies scholar with a PhD in the field, Dr. Murtaza brings over 15 years of Federal Public Service experience to his work, leading transformative initiatives to reduce workplace barriers for equity-deserving groups, including people with disabilities and Indigenous peoples.
