Biography

Rebecca A. Boorstein is a PhD candidate in the Department of History. Her research interests include 20th-century United States legal history, labor history, and the history of disability.

Prior to attending Yale, Rebecca received a B.A. in History and English from Amherst College, and a J.D. from The University of Chicago Law School. She has clinical legal experience in the fields of mental health and disability law, as well as civil rights litigation and police accountability.
