Call for Papers, Panels, and Workshops
The Symposium for Disability and Accessibility at Yale is happy to announce our first-round call for proposals for the upcoming 5th Annual Symposium for Disability and Accessibility at Yale. The submission form will open on Monday, September 6, 2025, and close on September 31, 2025. We invite disability scholars, activists, artists, community members, and allies to submit proposals that engage this year’s theme and topics of inquiry.
Our theme for this year is: “In(Visibility): The Creation of Narratives and their Legacies”.

Please note that submissions can include topics outside of the above themes.
Please note that proposals accepted for April 6-8 will be held virtually. Submissions accepted for April 9-11 will prefer in-person participation; however, virtual participation will be available on an individual basis. Please be sure to indicate on the submission form the date and format in which you would like to be considered.
